The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha on Thursday put off its indefinite shutdown in the Darjeeling hills from Friday till next round of talks with the state government, a move welcomed by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], March 14 (ANI): Trinamool Congress Party on Sunday cancelled the election manifesto's release which was scheduled for today. The next date will be announced later.
Sources within the poll panel said that the injuries sustained by Banerjee were a result of “lapse on part of security personnel in charge of the Chief Minister.
