Harbor Springs’ Boyne Highlands Resort has opened a new winter attraction: The Enchanted Trail.
The trail totals two miles and takes you through a winter wonderland filled with hundreds of twinkling lights, plus a stop at a beautiful yurt for s’mores, hot cocoa, and other beverages.
You can walk or rent snowshoes for the trail.
The Enchanted Trail is open on weekends and holidays with departures from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made online at the Boyne Highlands website.

If you’d like someone else to do the cooking on the 31st, you can pre-order your New Year’s Eve dinner from Black Star Farms, Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, or Crystal Mountain. They all have special multi-course to-go menus they’ve put together for New Year’s Eve to help you ring the new year in, in a delicious way.
Winter Break Ideas That are Fun and Safe
Whether your children are in school, or learning remotely, it s Winter/Christmas break, so of course, they are now bored! What s a parent to do?
No worries, because there are many things for the kids, and the entire family, to do to make the time off much better. Yes, we re still fighting the pandemic of COVID-19, and we need to still wear a mask, socially distance and be super careful, but that doesn t mean you have to lock yourself away.
