We looked at each other and thought, for December. in Michigan, this isn t bad. Outdoor seating at our favorite restaurant.
While the governor has put the kibosh on indoor dining - an effort to help keep the number of Covid-19 infections from skyrocketing even more - some enterprising eateries have set up heaters, while others igloos and tents, and have made eating and drinking outside a reality this year.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. â There are still many opportunities to get involved with the local community this holiday season.
Courtney Sheffer, Marketing Director for West Michigan Tourist Association (WMTA), joined Fox 17 live to share a few fun winter break ideas that are safe for all families.
First, Grand Rapids Public Museum is hosting Snowflake Break Camps for students in 1st through 6th grade. They can participate either in-person or virtually to explore science, history, and culture. This takes place Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from December 21 to 30.

Treetops Resort, The Gaylord Area Tourism Bureau, and area hotels welcome winter with a Free Ski Weekend December Dec 18-19.
Overnight guests at Treetops and other participating Gaylord hotels will receive a free lift ticket voucher, valid for a day of skiing or snowboarding. For those new to the slopes, Treetops Resort will also be offering free “Learn to Ski Clinics” on Saturday.
