A teenager has been found guilty of manslaughter after stabbing a man in a row over a £20 bag of cannabis.
A HUGE new West Midlands Ambulance Service hub will be built in Oldbury after planners gave the scheme the go-ahead. Sandwell Council approved a proposal for a 7,725 square metre headquarters on disused land off Shidas Lane, which was originally submitted in December last year. The three storey building will provide a home for many WMAS functions with a call centre, training facilities, storage and car parking spaces. More than 450 people will be working from the site on a shift basis. Officers used delegated powers to grant permission which will allow the scheme to move forward. An officer report said: “On balance, I am of the opinion that the proposal is acceptable in this location.

Police are investigating after a man died at a house in Wolverhampton in the early hours of this morning.

Police at the scene in Church Road, in the Oxley area
Emergency services were called to the property in Church Road, Oxley, shortly after 5am on Thursday to reports of a medical emergency.
Paramedics worked to save the 32-year-old man but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is being treated as unexplained.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: We were alerted to reports of a man with serious injuries at a house in Church Road, Oxley at around 5.20am.
