Nothing but the Tooth column: Picking the right time for a tooth extraction

Q: My name is Kaci and I live in L.A. County which is currently a hotspot for COVID-19. I have a wisdom tooth removal scheduled for next Friday. The tooth is my bottom right molar. The tooth has never really caused pain; it’s just uncomfortable because of its position. It’s fully erupted and has been filled before. Lately I’ve been clenching and grinding my teeth and the tooth gets in the way of my cheek so I’ve been getting a lot of biting and irritation on that side. Again, nothing that’s been causing me great pain, just irritation. Should I move forward or wait to be vaccinated?

You are going to love this or you are going to turn it off, 15 minutes in, after or during a spell of head scratching. There will be no middle ground.
To sum up, it’s an unusual movie.
But, let’s jump to the beginning. A narrator (Thomas Sadoski) is talking about the time someone was in his (the narrator’s) attic with his (the narrator’s) Saint Bernard, when the dog fell through the floor and landed on the kitchen table. And there, onscreen, standing in the kitchen is a man known only as The Kid (Jake Robinson). The dog is next to him, and he’s fine.
While it doesn’t have the Marios or Zeldas that Nintendo does, or the Halos and Gears of War titles that Xbox has, PlayStation has long been the home to the exclusive video game titles that appeal most to me.
“Marvel’s Spider-Man,” “The Last of Us”, “God of War,” “Ratchet and Clank” and “Astro Bot” are some of the top titles in their respective genres. As great as those franchises are, my favorite PlayStation franchise, my favorite video game franchise, is the Uncharted series.
“Uncharted” is like a modern-day Indiana Jones series, following treasure hunter Nathan Drake as he and his friends get in over their heads trying to secure their fortune and glory. Each game in the series plays out like a massive Hollywood blockbuster, with huge action set pieces and great characters and beautifully written, acted and animated characters.
