The rollout of the Covid-19 vaccination is continuing across Buckinghamshire this week - with elderly residents in Princes Risborough being prioritised. The first Covid vaccination site came to the county on Monday, December 14, in Chalfont St Peter, with 90-year-old Brian Horne the first to receive the Pfizer/BioNTech jab. Now, GP-led Primary Care Networks in Princes Risborough and Winslow are starting to vaccinate local patients aged 80 and over. As well as people aged 80 and over, care home staff are also being prioritised in this first phase of the national vaccination rollout - in line with the national Joint Committee of Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) prioritisation programme.
