Suparco to monitor NHA network by satellite

Islamabad:National Highway Authority (NHA) & Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) signed an agreement on Monday at NHA, Headquarters under which National Highway Authority’s entire network will be monitored by using satellite technology, says a press release.
NHA Chairman Captain (r) Sikander Qayyum, Member Suparco Zafar Iqbal and senior officers of NHA, Suparco and Ministry of Communications were also present. NHA’s Member (Planning) Asim Amin and Director Commercial Suparco Brigadier (r) Tahir Islam signed the agreement.
According to the detail NHA will engage Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) for monitoring of its network using satellite technology.

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Climate Change has decided to monitor the government s Billion Tree Tsunami Project via satellite. In this regard, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Ministry of Climate Change and the Pakistan Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO).
As reported by
Geo.tv, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam said that SUPARCO would also ensure the transparency of the project.
Prime Minister Imran Khan s initiative to plant 10 billion trees to make Pakistan greener and mitigate the effects of climate change has been lauded by different countries.
