Hong Kong: Hospital nurse tests positive The Hospital Authority today said a female nurse at Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital’s Orthopaedics & Traumatology Department has tested positive for COVID-19. The nurse attended the Ma On Shan Family Medicine Centre on December 11 due to fever and was arranged to undergo a deep throat saliva test. She has been arranged for admission to the Community Treatment Facility at AsiaWorld-Expo after her test result came back positive on December 12. She last performed duties on December 11 and had no contact with confirmed COVID-19 patients at the hospital. Eight staff members who had meals with the nurse were identified as close contacts and will undergo quarantine. COVID-19 tests were also arranged for them and the results were negative.
