NEW DELHI, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) Nine months after the first case of COVID-19 infection was reported in India, the South Asian nation at present is the second-worst hit country in terms of the number of infections, with COVID-19 tally crossing 10 million mark in India on Saturday.
According to the latest data released by India s federal health ministry on Sunday morning, the number of COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 10,031,223 and the death toll has risen to 145,477.
