The company did not disclose the value of the contracts but said the orders fall under the significant category, which ranges between Rs 1,000 crore and Rs 2,500 crore, according to the classification of contracts. The construction arm of L&T has secured (significant) orders from prestigious clients for its various businesses, L&T said in a regulatory filing. The company said its buildings and factories business has won an order from a reputed developer to construct an office space in Mumbai.

In a regulatory filing, Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd said it has secured new orders/notification of award of about Rs 1,300 crore.
KPTL said it has bagged the engineering, procurement and construction orders for pipeline laying and associated works in India and order for railway electrification by Central Organisation for Railway Electrification (CORE).
The power firm also said its international subsidiary has secured new T&D projects in Europe.
Key equity barometers reversed losses and hit fresh intraday high in mid-afternoon trade. At 14:23 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, was up 75.90 points or 0.16% at 46,329.36. The Nifty 50 index added 28.65 points or 0.21% at 13,586.80.
In the broader market, the S&P BSE Mid-Cap index gained 0.18%. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index rose 0.17%.
Buyers outpaced the sellers. On the BSE, 1499 shares rose and 1393 shares fell. A total of 172 shares were unchanged.
