Centre amends pension rules, bars security officials from publishing material after retirement without clearance ANI | Updated: Jun 02, 2021 21:01 IST New Delhi [India], June 2 (ANI): The Centre has amended central civil services pension rules which now state that retired officials of security and intelligence organisations will not publish material, including that related to their experience and expertise in the organisation, without clearance from the head of the organisation. The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions said in a notification that Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972 are being amended. No government servant, who having worked in any intelligence or security-related organization included in the second schedule of Right to Information Act, shall, without prior clearance from the head of organization, make any publication after retirement of any material relating to or including domain of the organisati

Highlights The DoPPW has issued a clarification on the amount admissible in case a child is eligible to draw two family pensions after the death of his or her parents. Singh said that the amount of both the family pensions will now be restricted to Rs 1,25,000 per month, which is more than two and half times higher than the earlier limit. Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Friday stated that in a far-reaching reform regarding family pensions the upper ceiling has been raised from Rs 45,000 to Rs 1,25,000 per month. He said the move will bring “Ease of Living” for the family members of the deceased employees and would provide adequate financial security to them.
