Kotak Mahindra Bank Appoints Dr Ashok Gulati as an Additional Independent Director on its Board

Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited today announced the appointment of Padma Shri awardee, Dr. Ashok Gulati as an Additional and Independent Director on the Bank s Board, for a term of five years, effective 6th March, 2021, subject to the approval of the Members of the Bank.

Finance Minister addresses the Central Board of RBI Directors

New Delhi, Feb 16 : The 587th meeting of the Central Board of Directors of Reserve Bank of India was held under the chairmanship of Governor Shaktikanta Das, through video conferencing on Tuesday, an official statement said.
The meeting was also attended by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who in her address to the Directors of the Central Board, outlined the thinking behind the Union Budget 2021-22 and the priorities of the government.
Complimenting the Finance Minister on the Budget, the Board members made various suggestions for consideration of the government.
The Central Board of Directors of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in a meeting on Tuesday reviewed the current economic situation, global and domestic challenges and various areas of operations of the apex bank.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Minister of State for Finance Anurag Singh Thakur also attended the meeting, an official statement by the RBI said.
The statement added, Sitharaman, in her address, outlined the thinking behind the Union Budget 2021-22 and the priorities of the government. The Board members complimented the FM for the Budget and also made various suggestions for consideration of the government, informed the official statement.
