Tulsa Health Department To Begin Administering Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccines To 12-15-Year-Olds
The Tulsa Health Department will start administering Pfizer s COVID-19 vaccine to 12 to 15-year-olds on Thursday.
The Centers for Disease Control gave its approval Wednesday for emergency use authorization. Pfizer is now the first manufacturer to receive approval of its vaccine for younger Americans.
The Tulsa Health Department hopes the decision will prevent more infections, hospitalization, and deaths in Tulsa County. Starting Thursday, parents can make an appointment for their child to receive the vaccine at four of THD s locations. The locations include:

Tulsa Health Dept. Opens New Locations For COVID-19 Vaccinations
The Tulsa Health Department now has three new locations taking COVID-19 vaccine appointments.
The three new Tulsa Health Department vaccine clinic locations are the James Goodwin Health Center off East 51st Street and South 129th East Avenue, the Central Regional Health Center off Utica and East 3rd near downtown, and then the North Regional Health and Wellness Center near East 56th Street North and MLK.
The health department said if you want to make an appointment, you ll have to schedule it online when new slots are opened for the following week.
