The late Nazrin Hassan.
SHAH ALAM (Bernama): A witness in the murder trial of Nazrin Hassan told the High Court here that fragments of an arrow were found in the compound of the Cradle Fund chief executive officer’s house when police were investigating the case three years ago.
Inspector Nor Harman Ab Hamid, who is currently attached to the Bukit Aman training division, said he was asked by investigating officer ASP Mohd Nizam Daud to inspect the house in Mutiara Damansara after being informed that Nazrin’s death may have been caused by an arrow shot. On Sept 19, 2018, at 10am, I received a call from Mohd Nizam to help conduct another round of investigation in the house. I then took an air conditioner filter and blower from the room for a fire impact analysis.

Created out of the Lahad Datu incident in 2013, Malaysian defence contractor MILDEF has revealed the home built 4×4 High Mobility Armoured Vehicle (HMAV), developed at a cost of RM16 million. Built to NATO AEP-55 Stanag 4569 ballistic standard which covers “Protection Levels for Occupants of Logistic and Light Armored Vehicles”, the MILDEF HMAV is protected against strikes from kinetic energy, artillery, and IED (improvised explosive device) blasts, typical threats in an urban warfare environment.
Armoured to Stanag 4569 Level 2, the HMAV is capable of withstanding 7.62 mm armour piercing rounds from 30 meters as well as impact energy from 6 kg of explosives, such as mines, at any wheel location or under the centre of the vehicle. Additionally, the HMAV is also resistant to 155 mm high explosive artillery falling at distance of 80 metres or more.
