Jan 25, 2021 U.S. marshals are offering a reward to assist in the capture of Abdul Muhammad, who is charged in a November homicide. YOUNGSTOWN The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of Abdul Muhammad, 29, of Youngstown, who is wanted for a Nov. 19 murder. Muhammad is charged in Youngstown Municipal Court with aggravated murder in the shooting death of Marquis Bebbs, 35. Police found Bebbs just before 2 a.m. Nov. 19 at South and East Lucius Avenues while responding to a ShotSpotter notification, which alerts the Youngstown Police Department of gunfire on the city’s South Side.

YOUNGSTOWN –The East Boston Avenue home of Chris Cordero, 33, was the focus of persistent gunfire and other incidents last May. Now Cordero is awaiting a decision from a Mahoning County grand jury on whether he will be indicted on drug and weapons charges from last August. Neighbors said last May that they feared for their lives because of how frequently gunfire was taking place at or near Cordero’s home. Police were called there 37 times in 29 days last spring, police records showed. Cordero, who is a rapper, said that he was having a lot of parties, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, and that gunfire was taking place frequently, saying he believed it was because of jealousy.

Green, 24, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Cleveland to being a felon in possession of ammunition and will be sentenced April 19. He is in the Mahoning County jail.

Tried to flee hospital Dec 23, 2020 YOUNGSTOWN Robert A. Manigault, 25, of North Bon Air Avenue is facing charges after police chased him and others in a car, then chased him on foot and arrested him after finding him in a garbage can, according to a police report. Later they had to chase him again at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital and captured him again. Police were called to Big A’s store, 2525 Glenwood Ave., regarding a stolen car. They found a city man yelling at three unknown men standing near a vehicle, the report states. The men got into the vehicle and fled on Glenwood with police following with lights and sirens. The vehicle crashed into the front porch of a house of a home in the 300 block of Ravenwood Avenue, and the corner of another house on Ravenwood, police records state.
