Update (Dec. 20)  The York County Coroner s Office has identified the person who died after a hit and run in Manchester Township Saturday morning. Norman Mann III, 40, of the 100 block of North Newberry Street, York City was the victim. Previous: A male pedestrian died early Saturday morning after a hit and run in the area of National Tire and Battery in Manchester Township, the York County Coroner s Office said. At around 2:10 a.m., a vehicle struck the pedestrian while he crossed 30 east-bound and fled the scene, the release said. His cause and manner of death are still being investigated.

Alba Castro De Rep, 62, died from multiple blunt force trauma after she was struck by a vehicle on the 300 block of York Street in Hanover, according to the coroner’s office. The coroner ruled the manner of death to be accidental. Authorities say she was attempting to cross York Street when she stepped in front of an oncoming vehicle and was struck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
