WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump is leaving the White House but he is not going to fade away quietly.
After failing in his legal efforts to overturn his Noember. 3 election loss to Democrat Joe Biden, who on Monday won the state-by-state Electoral College vote that formally determines the US presidency, Trump will re-enter private life on January 20 with an array of opportunities.

Letitia James (D) filed court documents on Tuesday seeking to compel a for-profit private detention center in Queens to comply with subpoenas for documents in an ongoing investigation into potentially inadequate COVID-19 health protocols.
The Queens Detention Facility (QDF) a 222-bed facility owned and operated by The GEO Group, Inc. that is used to detain federal prisoners has been the subject of multiple complaints and reports alleging that “GEO exposed Detainees and Staff to an unreasonable risk of contracting COVID-19 by failing to provide sufficient personal protective equipment, sanitize dormitory units and linens, enable and enforce social distancing, or separate sick Detainees from those who exhibited no symptoms.”
