Moscow, Dec 22 (Prensa Latina) A Russian SU-30 fighter intercepted a Japanese spy plane OP-3C over the basin of the Seas of Japan and Okhotsk on Tuesday, Russia s National Defense Control Center reported.
The bodies in charge of controlling and monitoring Russia s airspace detected the Japanese aircraft and, for this reason, the SU-30 fighter of the Eastern Military District was activated.
At no time the violation of the national airspace was allowed, the agency clarified.
On October 6, a Russian SU-27 fighter prevented a new provocation of four British air force planes over the Black Sea.
