A Volkswagen Golf car was involved and struck the roadside barrier. As a result the male driver of the car was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.

The man fell from the first floor of a flat in Linkwood Crescent A MAN fell from the first floor of a high-rise block in Drumchapel. The 29-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the incident on Linkwood Crescent at around 7.20pm yesterday. Police investigating the fall say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding it. The man remains in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. A Police Scotland spokesman said: Around 7.20pm on Monday, May 3, a 29-year-old man was injured after falling from a first floor window at a property in Linkwood Crescent, Drumchapel.
