Stock picture A Slough man has been charged with GBH after two women were taken to hospital with alleged stab wounds. Piotr Malinowski, 34, of Adelphi Gardens, was charged today (December 30) with two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article. It follows an incident in Adelphi Gardens on Monday (December 28) during which two women, both aged in their 50s, suffered stab wounds, police said. TVP added both victims received hospital treatment but were discharged the next day. Malinowski appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court today (December 30) but no pleas were entered. He was remanded into custody until his next court appearance, which is yet to be confirmed.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, December 8, was Tom Leahy.
The 22-year-old, of Tamworth Drive, denied assaulting Henrietta Kilminster by beating her in Thatcham on Saturday, May 2.
But magistrates did not believe his account and convicted him following a trial.
They ordered pre-sentence reports to be prepared on an ‘all options’ basis, including custody.

A MOTHER has had to appear in court after two of her children failed to attend school regularly.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday, November 13, was Samantha Holmes.
The 32-year-old, of Three Firs Way, Burghfield Common, admitted being the parent of two children who failed to attend regularly at The Willink School in Burghfield Common between January 3 and March 16.
The case was brought by West Berkshire Council.
Ms Holmes was made subject to a 12-month conditional discharge.
No order for costs was made but she was ordered to pay a statutory victim services surcharge of £21.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, December 9, was Samantha Gillespie.
The 49-year-old, of Parsons Close in Newbury, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Newbury on Tuesday, August 4.
However, this offence was withdrawn after magistrates ruled that her actions were racially motivated.
Instead, Ms Parsons was convicted of a racially aggravated version of the same offence.
She was fined £180 and ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £34. ); document.write( );

The 44-year-old, who lives at Lockside Court, Aldermaston, admitted possessing both Class A-controlled drugs in Midgham on Friday, June 12.
