School holiday clubs will be available for children in Croydon.   Pic: Sigmund Croydon children to be offered free activities during school holidays Children in Croydon borough who are eligible for free school meals, will be able to join activity clubs and eat healthy food during their summer and Christmas break this year. Croydon council opened applications on May 21 for organisations to apply to set up a holiday club, providing balanced meals, physical activities and exercises that promote personal enhancement for children during the two holiday periods. Croydon councillor and Cabinet member for children, young people and learning, Alisa Flemming, said in a press release: “We are also looking forward to working with a host of partners from across the community in a bid to organise a diverse range of holiday schemes so there is something for children of all ages, backgrounds and interests.”
