MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (FOX19) - The Ohio River, which is at moderate flood stage, remains too high for dive teams and other first responders to search for the body of 6-year-old James Hutchinson, authorities said Wednesday.
The search is suspended for now.
Middletownâs police chief has determined they will continue to assess river levels for safety, a city spokeswoman said.

Middletown officials announced a previously-missing 6-year-old child was killed and his body was put into the Ohio River.

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio â A local mother accused of killing her 6-year-old son drove him to a park, told him she was leaving him there and drove off with the boy clinging to the car, âdragging the child for a distance,â according to court documents.
Brittany Gosney, 29, told police that she left Rush Run Park in Preble County after she dragged her son, James Hutchinson, with her car.
