A second man has been charged with murder, and a third remains at large in the death of a 19-year-old Frederick man who died Sept. 9, three days after police said he was shot. Frederick County Sheriff’s Office arrested Clarksburg resident Brian Braheem Henry, 27, on Tuesday after a warrant was issued for his arrest five days earlier in connection to the death of Jaemari Alvin Anderson, 19. Henry, who was being held without bond as of Friday. was charged with first- and second-degree murder, felony assault, conspiracy to commit felony assault, and using a firearm in a violent crime, online court records show.

Slain Hazleton store clerk wanted brighter future for son

Ashokkumar Patel died in an armed robbery of a Hazleton convenience store Saturday night, but it wasn’t the first time the 50-year-old man was shot trying to give his family a brighter future, his son said Thursday. Bhavik Patel, who lives in India where he studied mechanical engineering, learned about his father’s death from the store’s owner, he said. The elder Patel, who was a grain farmer in his native country before coming to the United States nine years ago, was shot and killed in cold blood at Craig’s Food Mart on West Broad Street during a robbery.

Man Injured in Havre de Grace Shooting Form the Harford County Sheriff’s Office: Harford County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are investigating, and a man is recovering, after a shooting in Havre de Grace late Friday night. At approximately 11:49 p.m. on December 11, 2020, deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 4100 block of Gravel Hill Road in Havre de Grace for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies located Paul Hartman, Jr., 31, suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. Deputies immediately began rendering first aid until the arrival of medics. He was transported to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for treatment of what are believed to be a non-life threatening injuries. The victim has already contacted a personal injury law firm to handle the legal process of this case.
