Lordstown eyes contract manufacturing, leasing space at its Ohio plant

Lordstown Motors Corp (RIDE.O), which previously warned it needs to raise additional funding, hung the "open for business" sign on its northeastern Ohio plant on Wednesday, saying it was in talks to build vehicles for other automakers or lease space in the factory.

Struggling EV truckmaker Lordstown Motors keeps target production date

From Bloomberg: The company said its battery line is now fully commissioned and its plant is production-ready for September. Lordstown, which has previously warned that it may not be able to continue as a going concern, said Wednesday, Aug. 11, that it expects to have liquidity of between $225 million and $275 million in cash and cash equivalents at the end of the third quarter without including any funds from capital raises.
