A 70-year-old man said to be feeling lonely and isolated after the breakdown of his marriage was caught drink-driving at twice the limit near his home.
Disqualified driver clocked at 99mph near King s Lynn

A Lynn driver caught doing 99mph on the A47 at Terrington St John was found to be disqualified.
Jack Liam Garrett, 21, was in a friend s VW Golf which had false registration plates.
Prosecutor Michael Devaney told Lynn Magistrates Court on Thursday that Garrett was clocked by a hand-held device as he headed towards Lynn on a 70mph stretch of the road on September 21 last year.

When stopped, he admitted he d received a letter about the ban.
The court was told that Garrett had been disqualified in 2017 for dangerous driving and he was required to take an extended retest.

A Lynn hairdresser who caused a mid-afternoon crash in the town while three times the drink-drive limit did not know why she was at the wheel.
Callie McGiven, 33, claims she could not recollect drinking or why she was driving her father s Land Rover Freelander.
At Lynn Magistrates Court on Thursday, she pleaded guilty to driving while unfit through drink.

Prosecutor Michael Devaney said the crash happened on November 19 in Gayton Road near the junction with Winston Churchill Drive. She drove into the back of another car, he said. When police arrived she was unsteady on her feet and talking very quickly, moving from one topic to another. Her eyes were glazed.
Two in court over Swaffham disturbance
Two people have appeared in court in connection with a disturbance in Swaffham.
Kirk Daniel Brandish is accused of causing grievous bodily harm to Steven Turner on February 16 and assaulting PC Jack Phillips.
The case was sent to Norwich Crown Court for a hearing on January 14.

Brandish, 33, of Tippett Close, Norwich, was granted unconditional bail.
Innocence Diahann Exum, of Theatre Street, Swaffham, pleaded guilty to assaulting PC Aimee Monument.
Prosecutor Robyn Khan told Lynn Magistrates Court on Thursday that Exum interfered as officers were struggling to keep control of Brandish as he was being arrested.
Man, 75, in court in King s Lynn over grooming and trying to meet 14-year-old girl

A 75-year-old Terrington St Clement man has appeared in court accused of trying to meet a girl of 14 for sexual activity.
George Williams is said to have attempted it in Peterborough on February 26 after previously contacting her on at least one occasion.
The pensioner, of Alma Avenue, is charged with attempting to meet a girl under 16 following grooming.

He is also accused of two counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with girls between October 14 last year and February 26.
