COLUMBIA: John E. Griffy, 36, of Columbia, was charged with harassment after punching his neighbor in the face in the first block of North 2nd Street at 12 a.m. on April 27, police said.

EAST COCALICO TWP.: William Boyer, 44, of Marietta, was charged with forgery and theft by unlawful taking after attempting to cash a $1,000 check that he had forged at the Fulton Bank at 2350 North Reading Road at 12:59 p.m. on May 3, police said. A bank employee noticed the difference in signatures and contacted authorities, police said.

EPHRATA: A pickup truck struck a vehicle that was parked at a Sheetz at 891 East Main Street at around 8:30 p.m. on May 7, causing moderate damage, and then fled the scene, police said.
A woman was killed after a two-vehicle crash on New Holland Pike on Friday night that Manheim Township police described as serious, according to Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni.
The crash occurred in the 2000 block of New Holland Pike, or Route 23, near Landis Valley Road at the Conestoga River between Manheim and East Lampeter townships, police said in a news release. Initial dispatch reports indicated that the crash occurred at around 8:45 p.m.
A female driver who appeared to be in her late 20s was killed in the crash, according to Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni. The woman s identity has not been released to the public.
A Mount Joy woman was killed after a head-on crash on New Holland Pike on Friday night, according to Manheim Township police.
A 29-year-old woman headed eastbound veered into the oncoming lane of traffic at around 8:18 p.m. in the 2100 block of New Holland Pike, or Route 23, near Landis Valley Road at the Conestoga River between Manheim and East Lampeter townships, police said in a news release.
The woman, whose identity has not been released to the public, struck another vehicle headed westbound head-on.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she later died, police said. Two occupants of the vehicle she struck were also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
