Prosecutors probe deaths after Covid-19 outbreak at Fife care home Prosecutors are investigating a series of deaths after a Covid-19 outbreak at a Fife care home.
A total of 19 people are now confirmed to have died after testing positive for coronavirus at Lomond Court Care Home in Glenrothes.
A spokesperson for the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service has confirmed to Kingdom FM that several of those are under investigation.
The spokesperson said: The procurator fiscal has received reports in connection with the deaths of 17 people at Lomond Court Care Home, Glenrothes. The investigation into the deaths is ongoing and the families will continue to be kept updated in relation to any significant developments.
