Survey gathering regional wages, benefits

The region s employers are being asked to submit information to help with a regional wage and benefits survey.
The Local Economic Development Organization Council and the Northeast Indiana Chamber Coalition are gathering data to assist in the region s economic development efforts, according to a Tuesday news release.
Chad Ruston, the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership s senior vice president of economic development and chief operating officer, said the data will give the region and employers an edge when competing with other regions.
“As employers focus on attracting and retaining the best workforce, the survey helps us understand if what employers are offering is competitive,” he said in a statement. “Through analysis of the survey, economic developers can understand how northeast Indiana stacks up against other markets nationally and even globally.”
