Officers said Shawndell DeShazo II, 28, died of gunshot wounds at a hospital. Police did not offer any details about the circumstances of the shooting or whether they have identified a suspect, but said DeShazo’s death was ruled a homicide. Police said they responded to Northeast 66th Avenue and Broadway Street around 8:45 p.m. Thursday, where they found two victims with gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to the hospital in an ambulance and are believed to have nonlife-threatening injuries.
