A Qauia resident looking after her children and elderly mother says she is hopeful that things will get better and feels she has a huge responsibility to protect their safe bubble as much as possible.
Meri Vutevute says many families in Qauia are feeling the pressure and have to struggle with what they have.

She says Qauia is a close knit community so residents have been doing what they can as well to help each other.
