The opposition member of parliament Dr Atonio Lalabalavu said the road had not been maintained for more than one year and has seen bus services limited in the farming community. “I was informed during my visit to the farming community in Nalovo, South of Taveuni, that their road had not been maintained for more than one year,” he said. “The effect of this is, bus services have been limited to the farming community and school kids have to walk some distance to the good part of the road, rain or shine.
