The Mopar 2021 Ram 1500 Special Edition, does pack a 5.7L Hemi engine between its front fenders, but, unlike bonafide big-horsepower predecessors like the 2006 SRT-10 and the all-new 2021 Ram 1500 TRX, the SE s powerplant is stone-bone stock, and as such only makes 395hp and 410 lb-ft of torque.
With the $8,500 Special Edition option, Mopar is basically taking a combination of 250 crew-cab 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn/Lone Star pickups and adding side steps, tow hooks, adjustable tie downs, a spray-in bedliner, body-color tonneau cover, all-weather floor mats, and hardware for installing exterior/interior trailer cameras.

The 2021 Ram 1500 offers many ways for buyers to customize their trucks via the Mopar Custom Shop. Ram’s latest is the Mopar ’21 Special Edition. This appearance package is available exclusively to the 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn and Lone Star Crew Cab 4×4. The Mopar ’21 Special Edition is limited to only 250 units (210 for the U.S. and 40 for Canada) and starts at $8,500.

Ram seems to have perfected the ability to create special editions that are customized straight from their factory custom shops. The designers are out with a new Mopar 2021 Ram 1500 special edition that is sure to turn heads. Only 250 of the limited edition custom trucks will be built.
The new 2021 Ram 1500 builds on the Big Horn/Lone Star Crew cab trim adding lots of Mopar accessories including: off-road style running boards, spray-in bedliner and body-color one-piece tonneau cover. The special editions will only be built in four colors and will have an owner kit identifying it as a special edition. The kit contains a custom-made, personalized metal certificate of authenticity with serialized vehicle-build number.
