Saskatchewan Records Lowest Daily New Case Count of COVID-19 in Two Months

Tuesday’s update from the Ministry of Health had 129 new cases of the novel coronavirus out of 2,629 processed tests and from 12 of the 13 provincial zones, 47 of them from Saskatoon. Back on March 18th, there were 115 new cases reported out of 2,872 processed tests. Couple the 129 new cases of COVID-19 with 269 recoveries and the active case count in Saskatchewan is down to 1,825. Of those, 142 people are in hospital, including 27 individuals receiving treatment in an I-C-U. However, there were three deaths in the province, all seniors in their 70s for a total of 522. Two of the fatalities were in Saskatoon and the third in the Far North East zone.
