Two Sault Ste. Marie businesses are part of a new provincial marketing effort to encourage Ontario residents to shop local during the Christmas season and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Northern Superior Brewing Co., and Joe’s Sports and Surplus are featured in the six-week campaign that runs until mid-January. Advertisements will air on radio, television and social media.

“This year tourism means supporting your local establishment,” said Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries Lisa MacLeod during a launch Wednesday in Toronto. “We need local as much as local needs us.”
