Northern Ireland young people who found themselves homeless plea with Stormont for support Orlaith Clinton Politicians are being urged to provide more support for the homeless.
The call comes as young people are sharing their harrowing stories of life on the streets being exposed to drugs, alcohol and increasing desperation. They say the Stormont Executive must invest in better support services for young homeless people, including the provision of purpose-built youth accommodation. They ve been supported by the Relentless Change Programme (RCP), run by the Northern Ireland Youth Forum (NIYF) and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, which supports homeless young people and advocates on their behalf.

Construction work on a new apartment complex in Derry s city centre is due to be completed by autumn of of next year.
Work has started on the redevelopment of a derelict building in Waterloo Street to create 19 new homes for people on the housing waiting list.
The £2.7 million regeneration project by Clanmil Housing Group will see the building renovated to provide modern apartments for active older people over the age of 55.
