Police say Troop J and Major Crimes Unit North detectives responded to the shooting that occurred outside a residence in Robbinston. Investigators say the shooting happened during a family fight.  During the initial call, Maine State Police were assisted by U.S. Border Patrol, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Calais Police Department, and the Maine Warden Service.

Share A shooting in the Washington County town of Robbinston sent one person to a Bangor hospital on Saturday afternoon, Maine State Police said Sunday. Authorities have been holding back most details of the incident, including who the victim is and what that person’s medical condition is. In a news release Sunday, state police said the incident took place at 1:48 p.m. Saturday outside a residence in Robbinston, which is near Calais. The person injured in the shooting was taken to an area hospital and then flown to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, state police said.

Share Dianne Calder, a resident of The Cedars in Portland, was among the first nursing home residents in Maine to be vaccinated against COVID-19 on Monday. Calder moved to The Cedars shortly before the nursing home closed to visitors and enforced protocols to prevent the spread of the virus. Getting the vaccine gave her hope that she may soon be able to hug her daughter again and dine with other residents.

December 21st, 2020 | by: Stu Marckoon Trenton   (Trenton) – A shooter may be on the loose this morning in Trenton following an incident last night that may have left at least two people wounded.  It happened on Birch Heights Drive off Oak Point Road sometime after 8-o’clock last night.   Neighbors posted on social media seeing numerous police cars and ambulances rushing to the scene, and other social media posts based mainly on police radio traffic indicated multiple injuries and that police were searching the area for the shooter.  The Hancock County Communications Center said the incident was ongoing early this morning but declined to provide further information.
