Witnesses told police they saw Atchison crossing against the light when she was hit. Police said they are running tests to determine if impairment was a factor in the crash.
The Coroner s Office tried to find Atchison s next of kin to notify them of her death, but the coroner s office has been unable to find relatives to contact.
