Adams Law announced the hiring of associate attorney Joseph K. Hill.
He was admitted to the bar in 2017 and has been an assistant Commonwealth s Attorney since then, prosecuting felonies.
Hill will work in the Covington firm s litigation and government practice groups.
He graduated from the University of Louisville in 2013 with a bachelor s degree and then earned a law degree from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2016. Hill was student body vice president at NKU.
He is a volunteer firefighter in Fort Mitchell and serves as treasurer of Transitions, Inc., a drug rehabilitation organization.

McNeill has served the 1st Appellate District, Division 1 since April 2020, when he was appointed by Gov. Andy Beshear to succeed Nickell, who was elected to the Supreme Court in 2019. McNeill will fill that seatâs unexpired term through 2022.
The 1st Appellate District is composed of the commonwealthâs 24 westernmost counties: Allen, Ballard, Butler, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Christian, Crittenden, Edmonson, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Hopkins, Livingston, Logan, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken, McLean, Muhlenberg, Simpson, Todd, Trigg and Webster.

FRANKFORTÂ â After winning the election in November, Court of Appeals Judge J. Christopher McNeill will be sworn into office today by Supreme Court of Kentucky Justice Christopher Shea Nickell.
