The 13th National Party Congress is expected to set the countryâs average annual growth rate of 6.5-7 per cent from now until 2025, when Vietnam may become a higher middle-income nation. To this end, restructuring public investment and state-owned enterprises will be more critical in order to create a level playing field in the economy.
Next week, one of the most important issues related to the national economic development is expected to be discussed at the 13th National Party Congress, taking place between January 25 and February 2 in Hanoi â creating a level playing field for all enterprises in all economic sectors to play, especially private firms.
Critical services such as frontline patrolling units, the PLUSRonda, will be traversing the North-South Expressway on 24-hour loops to ensure the safety of its customers and assist them during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period from Jan 13 to 26, says highway concessionaire PLUS Malaysia Bhd.
The two sub-projects are National Highway No 45-Nghi Son and Nghi Son-Dien Chau.
The North-South Expressway project has a total length of 654km and is divided into 11 sub-projects. Investment for the sub-projects totals 100.8 trillion dong ($4.4 billion), with 78.4 trillion dong sourced from the state budget.
Presenting a report at the meeting, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van The said per two previous National Assembly (NA) resolutions, six of the 11 sub-projects were to be public-funded and five others implemented under the public-private-partnership (PPP) model.
From October 2-5 last year, project management boards opened bids to select investors for five of the sub-projects. However, only three sub-projects with two investors submitted bidding documents, namely Dien Chau-Bai Vot, Nha Trang-Cam Lam and Cam Lam-Vinh Hao.
KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The public will once again face roadblocks set up by the police, as was implemented on March 18 last year, following the implementation of the movement control order which begins at 12.01 am (Jan 13).
Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said roadblocks this time would be more stringent, with police personnel assisted by members of the armed forces to ensure compliance. Roadblocks will return as before, and now, they will be in all areas, including those under the recovery movement control order and the conditional movement control order. Although the MAF (Malaysian Armed Forces) has similar powers to the police (to impose roadblocks if necessary) under the new emergency ordinance, but we (MAF) have agreed that we will only help, said Ismail Sabri, who is also Defence Minister.
