Crash injures 3 near Pine River
Driver was making a left hand turn to go across Highway 371, when the truck struck a Buick, causing both vehicles to come to a rest in the northbound lane area.

PINE RIVER Three people were injured, including a woman who was airlifted to a Robbinsdale hospital, Monday, Jan. 11, after two vehicles crashed on Highway 371, north of Pine River.
The crash was reported at 6:54 a.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported Daniel A. Kneisl, 28, Verndale, was driving a Dodge Ram north on Highway 371 and Adrian V. Praught, 85, Ironton, was driving a Buick Rendezvous south on the highway. Kneisl was making a left turn across Highway 371 when his truck struck the Buick, causing the vehicles to come to a rest in the northbound lane area.

M Health Fairview St. John s Hospital in Maplewood welcomed its first baby of 2021 on Friday.
The M Health Fairview hospital s first 2021 baby was born at 12:27 a.m. He seems like a really laid back, relaxed little babe, the baby s mom, Melissa Hennessey said. We re excited to have a little sleepy snuggler to bring home to our family. I think we re all looking forward to moving into the new year with a sense of peace and calm, and so far little John has certainly exhibited that calming presence for us!
The baby s name is John Robert Hennessey. He weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces.
