Drunken Jake Bowman was abusive to police who were called to deal with a fight.
Officers went to Taylor Street, in Newcastle, after receiving a report of an altercation.
Magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre heard 21-year-old Bowman was aggressive towards the person who made the complaint. Prosecutor Emma Thompson said: “When police arrived, this defendant was being aggressive and shouting at the informant.

The 19-year-old, who works as a groundsman for Stoke City FC, was found to be over the limit when officers stopped him in Newcastle.

Police have named a man charged after a stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers were called to a disturbance outside Caledonia House student accommodation on Caledonia Road, Shelton, at around 3pm on Saturday (May 15).
A 23-year-old man, from London, received a 2cm wound to his shoulder. He attended the Royal Stoke University Hospital and was discharged shortly afterwards.
