A TEENAGE boy was taken to hospital with a head injury after he was hit by a bus on a main road through Bury yesterday afternoon. Emergency services were called to the A56 Walmersley Road following reports of a collision between a bus and a pedestrian at around 3.15pm on Wednesday May 26. Officers at the scene found a 16-year-old male, who had been hit by a bus on the road. A North West Ambulance Service spokesperson said: An ambulance has taken a teenage boy to hospital after suffering a head injury. A response vehicle and advanced paramedic also attended the scene following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a bus.
