Nipissing First Nation is advising employees and customers of Kana Leaf on Osprey Miikan of a potential high-risk exposure to COVID-19.
The potential exposure dates are Dec. 31 and Jan. 1-3.

Individuals deemed high-risk and living in Nipissing First Nation have been contacted by NFN Health Services. Those deemed high-risk and not living in Nipissing First Nation have been contacted by the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit.
All individuals have been advised to immediately self-isolate, self-monitor and get tested for COVID-19. No personal health information will be released.
Health unit reports six new cases of COVID-19 in Parry Sound and Nipissing

Today, the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit reported six new cases of COVID-19, as well as seven more recoveries in the region.
Three individuals tested positive in the Parry Sound district and three in the Nipissing district, bringing the total number of active cases in the region to nine.
Five of the new cases were between the ages of 20 to 39 and one was between the ages of 40 to 59.
Three cases contracted the virus through a close contact with a positive case, two through community transmission, and one was through travel.
