On Sunday, Jan. 24, The 2020 APAN Music Awards were held after being postponed from Nov. 2020 due to new COVID-19 guidelines. A day prior, the 2020 APAN Star Awards commenced. Here is the list of winners for the events.

The 2020 APAN Awards, which has both the Star Awards and the Music Awards, was hosted by Kim Jong Kook and Jeon So Min. The event spanned two days, Saturday and Sunday (Jan. 23 - Jan. 24) for the Star Awards and the Music Awards respectively.
Some of the award winners were announced in advance, including the winners for the popular vote categories, the APAN Choice Awards, and the Top 10 Artists. The latter category selected winners through popularity votes, the artists achievements concerning the physical albums and digital releases in 2020, and judges scores. Other categories that were selected through popularity vote are Best All-Rounder, Best Icon, Best Music Video

The BTS has bagged yet another honour after winning the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the Apan Music Awards. The event was held at the Kyunghee University Grand Peace Palace in South Korea on Sunday, 24 January.

Kim Jong Kook and Jeon So Min-hosted show was originally scheduled to be held in November 2020, but it got postponed due to Covid-19. Since the situation has improved, the organisers decided to hold the event by taking precautionary measures.
The Apan Star Awards and Apan Music Awards took place without a live crowd and non-face-to-face event. The theme of this year was Thank You So Much. The organizers want to show their gratitude to the fans across the globe for their love and affection for the K-pop and to show their solidarity to the people struggling during the tough times due to Covid-19.

After getting postponed on a few occasions, Apan Star Awards was finally held on Saturday, 23 January. The event, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports in South Korea, was organised at Kyunghee University Grand Peace Palace in South Korea.
Hyunbin has won the Daesang Award (Grand Prize) at the 2020 APAN Star Awards.

Kim Sung-yoon-directed Itaewon Class bagged Drama of The Year Award, while Hyun Bin won Daesang (Grand Prize) at Apan Star Awards 2020. Kang Ha Neul and Kim Hee Sun were honoured with Top Excellence Award, Actor in a Miniseries and Top Excellence Award, Actress in a Miniseries, respectively.
