VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – City-County Health District is encouraging all Barnes County residents over the age of 16 to get vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.
Administrator Theresa Will said if you are 16 or older you may receive the Pfizer vaccine on Friday in the Hi Liner Activity Center.

Health District Administrator Theresa Will said we want to encourage the public to be vaccinated as soon as possible. She said the vaccine is safe despite rumors that discourage vaccinations. She gave this update about vaccinations and testing underway in Barnes County.
She said the mass-vaccination clinic for Friday, March 12th in the Hi Liner Activity Center is full. But anyone who wishes to sign up for the next clinic on Wednesday, March 17th must register for an appointment by visiting this website. VALLEY CITY, N.D. (CCHD) – City-County Health District (CCHD) is prepared to move into the next eligible priority group within Phase 1B of North Dakota’s COVID-19 vaccination plan: Those individuals working or living in Barnes County age 18 and over living with chronic, high-risk health conditions.
“We have made swift progress through Phase 1B and we are prepared to open eligibility to those age 18 and over living with chronic medical conditions,” said Theresa Will, Administrator for CCHD. “We thank the public for their support and patience as we continue to move through eligible groups in Barnes County,” Will added.
Due to a substantial allocation of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine, CCHD is offering a mass-vaccination clinic on Wednesday, March 3rd from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Valley City Jr/Sr High School Gym known as the Hi Liner Activity Center. “We are grateful for the support of Valley City Public Schools in hosting this important event,” Will said. “We a
