By Casey Nelson Apr 7, 2021 11:44 AM MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Grab your brats and beers, because a popular gameday tradition is returning to American Family Field. The Milwaukee Brewers, with support from the City of Milwaukee Health Department, are allowing fans to tailgate at the ballpark. “Tailgating is a Wisconsin tradition; it is how we begin our day at the ballpark,” said Brewers President – Business Operations Rick Schlesinger in a news release. “We have been in regular contact with the City of Milwaukee Health Department and the opening series was operationally sound. With safety protocols and our fans’ diligence, we are now able to bring back tailgating for those within a seating pod. We appreciate the fans’ patience as we take another step in our efforts to provide the best fan experience in sports.”

Brewers restructure seating pods after first series, making more seats available

By Jaymes Langrehr Apr 6, 2021 11:20 AM MILWAUKEE The Milwaukee Brewers say they’re restructuring their seating pods after their first homestand of the season to allow more ticket availability for people who only want to go to a game with one other person. The team announced a new seating plan Tuesday to acommodate more people looking to buy two-person pods by reducing the number of four- and six-person pods available. Capacity at American Family Field will still be limited to 25% overall, but the hope is dividing some of the larger pods into more two-person pods will make tickets available to more fans looking to get into the ballpark.
