Ashley Harrison, of Cherington Close, will also have to pay fines and costs totally more than £1,000 after admitting a number of offences including obstructing a police constable, having only a provisional licence when driving on his own, having no insurance, and driving without a seat belt. The 41-year-old had initially denied the charge of receiving stolen goods when knowing or believing them to be stolen, but was found guilty of that charge on November 24. Prosecutor Shafquat Reaz told Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday that victim Richard Cope had his car, a Ford Transit, stolen on March 13.

Court today: Two men who took part in Lowesmoor gang attack to learn their fate

COURT: Brennan Kilner and Mohammed Raja TWO men who took part in a gang attack in Lowesmoor will learn their sentence at Worcester Crown Court later today. As previously reported, ‘gloating’ attackers Martin Coffey, Asfandyar Kiani, Brennan Kilner and Mohammed Raja all took part in the group attack upon Kester Jardine in Black Horse Walk, Lowesmoor, Worcester. So far only Coffey, 26, of Maple Avenue, Worcester, has been sentenced for the ‘ferocious’ attack on the victim that took place on March 26 last year. The victim was punched and kicked by the gang - who were all convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm - even as he lay unconscious and entirely helpless on the ground.
