She said she was hesitant to get vaccinated because when she received the flu shot, she was severally ill and seemed to suffer from flu-like symptoms all fall and winter. “Yes, I was iffy to get vaccinated. I’ve had the flu shot before and was so sick. I was scared I would be sick again,” Gelinas said Monday.
