You may remember two weeks ago, the government announced that as of April 29th residents of long term care and personal care homes will be able to receive two family members at a time indoors, provided at least 90 per cent of residents at that home are fully vaccinated. Three weeks must have also elapsed since second doses were administered at the home.
Under the latest link for the latest public health measures provided by the government, you will see this statement “Visits to long-term care and personal care homes suspended except for compassionate reasonsâ. Compassionate reasons in the past have usually meant end of life care.
