Industry celebrates Global Meetings Industry Day Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) is taking place today, 8 April. Find out how you can get involved with GMID at GMID is a celebration of the meetings industry and the economic benefit that it brings, taking place across the world. The day is organised by Meetings Mean Business, a coalition of meetings industry eventprofs that started in Canada, but now has a global reach. This year’s GMID theme is Meet Safe, recognising the industry’s top priority of operating meetings and events with health and safety top-of-mind. The Barefoot Country Music Fest is slated for August 19 - 22 on the beach in Wildwood. The event is a three-day fest, with a fourth night kick-off concert on Thursday night. Besides Brice and the three headliners, other announced performers include Billy Currington, Jon Pardi, Jimmie Allen, Chris Lane, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lindsay Ell, Ingrid Andress, and Carolyn Miller.
